We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Thomas Edward Bevel, age 85, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Wednesday morning, August 20, 2008 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home. Memorial services for Mr. Bevel will be held in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA on Friday, August 22, 2008 at 2:00 PM with Dr. Gary Smith officiating. Interment will be at Lynn Family Cemetery at Hammock Springs Baptist Church in Donalsonville, GA . Mr. Bevel was born in Houston County, AL on October 8, 1922 to the late Lee and Kate Lynn Bevel. He was married to Bernice Bevel, who preceded him in death. He was a farmer in Seminole County for many years. He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Kathy Nigro of Dalzell SC; one brother, Mickey Bevel of Poland, GA and one aunt, Frances Elias of Jacksonville, FL. Two grandchildren, Matthew Moses and Karen Jones and one great grandchild, Madilynn Jones, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one sister, Margie Jones and a son-in-law, Donald Nigro. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
