JOSEPH BERNARD "JOE" FORSHEE, III

Joseph Bernard “Joe” Forshee III, age 66, of Brinson, GA passed away Friday evening, May 23, 2014 at his residence. Funeral services for Mr. Forshee will be held on Monday, May 26, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA. Interment will follow in Salem-Seminole Baptist Church Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Mr. Forshee was born in Jacksonville, FL on September 16, 1947 to Joseph Bernard Forshee, Jr. and Estel Hewitt Forshee. He served as a Deputy Sheriff in Florida before moving to the Donalsonville area. He was a past county commissioner for Seminole County and had owned his own land clearing business. He was also a past member of the Lake Seminole Lions Club. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Gail McDaniel Forshee of Brinson, GA; three daughters, Melissa Walker and her husband Doug of Tallahassee, FL, JoAnna Forshee and Jobst Elster of Atlanta, GA, and Alaina Forshee Mobley and her husband Justin of Peachtree City, GA; a son, Joby Forshee and Charlea Hall of Donalsonville, GA; as well as his grandchildren, Brandy, Cameron, Ethan, Jaye, Rylan, and Madeline. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Bernard Forshee, Jr. and Estel Hewitt Forshee.
