JEFFERY KENT ALFORD

Mr. Jeffery Kent Alford, age 50, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Friday afternoon, May 16, 2014 at his residence. A memorial service will be held for Mr. Alford on Thursday evening, May 22, 2014 at 6:30 PM at Spring Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Dean officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Mr. Alford was born in Monticello, FL on June 26, 1963 to Garland Kent Alford and Robbie N. Sysfett. He was a boat mechanic and a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church. He loved to help anyone he could that needed it, and he loved the outdoors. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Brenda Alford of Donalsonville, GA; his father and mother, Garland and Ethelene Alford; his biological mother, Robbie N. Sysfett; a daughter, Hailie Marie Alford and a son, Jason Kent Alford. Mr. Alford is also survived by 3 sisters, Tammy Alford Longfellow, Sandra Alford Steele, and Kimberly Alford Vaughan; one grandchild, Ashley Larae Alford; and numerous nieces and nephews.
