EDISON "ED" TODD

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Edison "Ed" Rudolph Todd, age 76 , of Donalsonville, Ga who passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2008, at the Donalsonville Hospital. Funeral services for Mr. Todd will be held at 10:00 AM EDT on Tuesday, July 22, 2008, at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Eric Boomer officiating. Interment will follow in the Dothan City Cemetery, Dothan, AL. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM EDT on Monday, July 21, 2008 at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mr. Todd was born on November 2, 1931 in Barbour County, AL to the late Elijah and Ethel Williamson Todd. He was married to Lynell Todd who preceded him in death in 2005. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was retired from Three Notch EMC. He attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Donalsonville. He leaves to cherish his memory one son, Stephen Allen Todd of Donalsonville, GA; five daughters, Peggy Deese and her husband Roger of Midland City, AL; Linda Middleton and her husband Tim of Iron City, GA; Glinda Whittaker and her husband Wayne of Donalsonville, GA; Pennie Tatum and her husband Cliff of Montgomery, AL and Rita Cox and her husband Kenny of Dothan, AL. He is also survived by six grandchildren, Allen Todd, Micaela Deese, McKenzie Cox, Whitney Middleton, Haley Middleton and Clifnie Tatum. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one daughter, Rebecca Dianne Todd and one brother, Horace Todd.
