Jessie Robert Tindell

Jessie Robert Tindell, Sr., age 60, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2014.   Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. James Scarborough officiating.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 7:00-9:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Friendship Memorial Gardens with Kirk Tindell, Robby Tindell, Jeremy Whittaker, Jason Stewart, Phillip Rowan, Ray Williams, Corey Rowan and Andrew Rowan serving as casketbearers.   Mr. Tindell was born December 3, 1953 in Donalsonville, GA to Robert Samuel Tindell and Ruby Marie Watson Tindell.  He worked as a maintenance technician for the City of Bainbridge and was a member of the Donalsonville Assembly of God and a former member of the Deep South Riders motorcycle club. He also served 6 years in the National Guard.   He is survived by his wife, Delores Diane Tindell; son, Jessie Robert Tindell, Jr. “Jay” and his wife Vanessa; step sons, Jeremy Wayne Whittaker and his wife Nichole, and Jason Ray Stewart; step daughters, Amy Leigh Williams and her husband Ray, and Heather Lynn Burke; his brothers, Robby Tindell and his wife Dana, Kirk Tindell and his wife Holly; his sisters, Marie Rowan and her husband Mikell, Ruby Sharpton and her husband Bob, and Naomi Blanchard and her husband Anthony. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Amrie Tindell, Devan Burke, Kelsey Burke, Ramsey Williams, Gabe Williams, Austin Stewart, Chase Stewart, Haley Stewart, and Bailey Whittaker.   He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Samuel Tindell and Ruby Marie Watson Tindell.   Flower will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Donalsonville Assembly of God Church 610 North Tennille Ave. Donalsonville, GA 39845.
