John “Keith” Easom, 51, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on November 30, 2013. A Tallahassee native, Keith was born December 14, 1961 to Rodney Easom and Emily Wiley Easom. He will always be remembered for his enthusiasm, big smile, high energy, and the desire to live life to the fullest. He could light up a room when he walked in and he always knew someone everywhere he went and if he didn’t, he met new friends. He graduated from Florida High and worked with Ecolab for many years. Keith’s fondest childhood memory was racing his bicycle and his motor cross bikes in area tournaments while bringing home the trophies. Over the years, he loved to race jet skis, play golf, ride his Harley Davidson, and enjoyed spending time in the gym working out with all of his buddies. He had a passion for spinning and recently became a certified spinning instructor. When he wasn’t spinning he loved cycling on the St. Marks Trail. He always had that need for speed and joked about it often. He kept this quote in his night stand…”Never ride faster than your angels can fly.” Keith leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Emily Wiley Easom, his wife Ingrid, a son, Tyler(Ashley), and a step daughter, Cailey King, all of Tallahassee, FL. He is also survived by a brother, Max Easom of Lakeland, FL and two sisters, Becky Sauers and Debbie Hill (John) both of Tallahassee, FL; as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins, and his beloved dog, Lucky. He was preceded in death by his father, Rodney Easom and a brother, Greg Easom. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Friendship Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Big Bend Hospice 1723 Mahan Center Blvd. Tallahassee, Florida 32308-1638.
