CHARLES EDWARD TYLER

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Charles Edward Tyler, age 76, of Greer, SC and formerly of Donalsonville, GA. Mr. Tyler passed away at his residence on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2013. A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 7, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Corinth Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Iron City, GA. Rev. James Scarborough will be officiating. Mr. Tyler was born December 26, 1936 in Iron City, GA to James Tyler and Berta Hardy Tyler. He served his country in the United States Air Force and worked as a store clerk. He leaves to cherish his memory, three daughters, Hope Sanchez (Curtis Murphy) of Greer, SC, Sabrina Westmoreland (Larry) of Greer, SC, and Cherie Tyler of Taylors, SC; a sister, Monteen Moody (Bill) of Donalsonville, GA; 9 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mr. Tyler was preceded in death by his parents, James Tyler and Berta Hardy Tyler; a daughter, Dorethea Barrett; and a brother, M.J. Jones.
