We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Linda Sue Hudgins Barber, age 68, of Elmadel, GA. Mrs. Barber passed away Sunday November, 17, 2013 at the Wilson Hospice House in Albany, GA. Funeral services for Mrs. Barber will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 2:30 PM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Joel Hudgins and Rev. James Scarborough officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA with Tommy Randal, Paul Randal, Christopher Foss, Jamie Hudgins, Lamar Hudgins and Marty Collins serving as active pallbearers. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home from 6:00 8:00 PM. Mrs. Barber was born in Blakley, GA on October 5, 1945 to the late L. P. and Iris Milford Hudgins. She was of the Methodist faith and was a homemaker. Mrs. Barber is survived by her daughter, Denise Hernandez and her husband Manuel of Donalsonville, GA; two granddaughters, Jilian Hernandez and Bianca Hernandez both of Donalsonville, GA; her sister, Beverly Foss of Albany, GA; sister-in-law, Katherine Hudgins; and her nephews, Tommy Randal, Paul Randal, Christopher Foss and Jamie Hudgins She was preceded in death by her parents, L.P. Hudgins and Iris Milford Hudgins; her husband, William Kenneth Barber; and her brother, Leon Hudgins.
