We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Audrey Mock Williams, age 92, of Dothan, AL, formerly of Donalsonville, GA, who passed away Thursday, May 29, 2008 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. Funeral services will be held Sunday, June 1, 2008 at 3:00 PM EDT at First Baptist Church in Donalsonville, GA with Dr. Ron McCaskill officiating. Interment will follow at Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville, GA. Visitation will be held from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM EDT at First Baptist Church in Donalsonville, GA. Mrs. Williams was born in Miller County, GA on March 27, 1916 to the late William Henry and Katrina Williams Mock. She graduated from Miller County High School and attended Georgia Southwestern College in Americus and then graduated from Georgia State College for Women in Milledgeville, GA with a B.S. in Education. She began her teaching career in Miller County, before coming to Seminole County and teaching for many years until her retirement in 1981. She was married to Frank Park Williams who preceded her in death in 1999. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Donalsonville, where she taught Sunday School in the Primary Dept. for many years, as well as served as the Director of the Primary Dept. for some time. She was a member of the WMU and the Georgia Retired Teachers Association. Mrs. Williams leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Patricia Williams Parker and her husband Rev. Willie Byron Parker of Dothan, AL and Carol Faye Williams Callahan of Meansville, GA; a sister, Evelyn Mock Newberry of Colquitt, GA; four grandchildren, Ron Parker and his wife Brenda of Birmingham, AL, Dan Parker and his wife Ann of Keller, TX, Wendy Callahan Willoughby and her husband Kyle of Senoia, GA, and Corey Callahan and his wife Christian of Zebulon, GA; six great grandchildren, Hunter, Fisher, and Anslee Callahan of Zebulon, GA, Anna and Jake Willoughby of Senoia, GA, and Andrew Parker of Keller, TX; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Henry and Katrina Williams Mock; her husband, Frank Park Williams; two brothers, Emmett Mock and Earl Wayne Mock; and a son-in-law, Bill Callahan. Casketbearers will be William Bramlett, Lewis Godby, Joe Burke, Don Dekle, Steve Bailey, and Jack Shamblin. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
