LESTER BRACKIN

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Lester Brackin, age 80, of Iron City, GA. Mr. Brackin passed away Monday morning, October 28, 2013 at his residence. The family request no funeral services be held. Mr. Brackin was born in Blakley, GA on June 1, 1933 to Pue Brackin and Chloe Jose Sheffield Brackin. He moved from Tampa, FL in 1976 to Seminole County. He worked as a self-employed farmer. Mr. Brackin leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Alice Hattaway Brackin of Iron City, GA; a son, Ronald Brackin and his wife Hazel of Tampa, FL; his step sons, Marvin Teal and his wife Pat of Bainbridge, GA and William Teal and his wife Debra of Portland, FL; his daughter, Peggy Mitchell of Ashford, AL; his brothers, Charlie Brackin and his wife Irene of Collier, AL, Tom Brackin and his wife Sonya of Raleigh, NC, James Brackin and his wife Samantha of Bainbridge, GA; his sisters, Inez Glass of Inverness, FL, Lillie Evans of Cedar Springs, GA, Luenette Love of Blakely, GA and Peggy Dunning of Jakin, GA. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren Mr. Brackin was preceded in death by his parents, Pew Brackin and Chloe Jose Sheffield Brackin; a brother, Raymond Brackin; and a granddaughter, Melissa Brackin.
