We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Dorothy Lucille Richmond, age 66, of Iron City, GA. Mrs. Richmond passed away Friday morning, October 25, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Richmond requested no services to be held. Mrs. Richmond was born on December 16, 1946 to Edward Earl Pollock and Vera Margaret Corley. She worked as a truck driver for Smith Trucking and was a member of the VFW in Montevideo, MN. Mrs. Richmond attended the Assembly of God Church in Cedar Springs, GA as a child. She was an avid watcher of Shepard’s Chapel with Pastor Murray on TV. She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Walter Scott Mathis of Pennsylvania, Gordon Eugene Robinson, Jr., his wife Tammy of Daytona, FL, Marc Allen Robinson, of Lakeland, FL, Susan Renee Copeland and her husband Darrell of Bainbridge, GA, and Melissa Lyn Jones and her husband Chris of Iron City, GA; her brothers, James Edward Pollock and his wife Ellen of Ponce De Leon, FL and Larry Earl Pollock and his wife Donna of Iron City, GA; her grandchildren, Brandi Kamp, Pamela Earp, Katlyn Robinson, Allison Mahoney, Amanda Robinson, Gordon Robinson, III, Bethanie Robinson and great granddaughters, Emma Grace Earp and Lilliana Nevaeh Keene. She is also survived by her first husband, Walter LaDon Mathis of Cuthbert, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Earl Pollock and Vera Margaret Corley; two husbands, Gordon Eugene Robinson, Sr. and Robert Larry Richmond; and a brother, Danny Ray Pollock
