FANNIE RATHEL MILLS

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Fannie Rathel Mills, age 81, of Auburndale, FL, formerly of Donalsonville, who passed away May 7, 2008 in FL. Funeral services will be held at Hammock Spring Freewill Baptist Church at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 10, 2008 with Dr. Gary Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Friendship Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Mills was born in Miller County, GA on October 22, 1926 to the late Ezekel and Edna Daniels Rathel. She was a homemaker and a member of Hammock Springs Freewill Baptist Church. Her husband Harvey D. Mills preceded her in death in 2003. She leaves to cherish her memory a son, Thomas Mills and his wife Neita of Auburndale, FL; 2 daughters, Martha Wilson and her husband Richard and Rebecca Johnson and her husband Charles all of Auburndale, FL; two special nieces, Sandra Davis and her husband Dennis; Rebekah Klauss and her husband Arthur; a brother, Carl Rathel and his wife Carolyn; and a sister, Jenice Ingram all of Donalsonville, GA She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren and the first great-great grandchild is due in June. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ezekel and Edna Daniels Rathel; her husband, Harvey D. Mills; a brother, Ircola Rathel; and a granddaughter, Kelly Lynn Wilson. Pallbearers will be Rick Wilson, Kyle McClure, Darryl Mills, Dalton Walter, Allen Johnson, Michael Johnson and Justin Johnson. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
