EARNEST ED BUSH

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Ed Bush, age 81, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away May 6, 2008 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Hammock Springs Free Will Baptist Church in Donalsonville, GA with Dr. Gary Smith and Rev. James Scarborough officiating. Burial will follow at Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Colquitt, Ga. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mr. Bush was born in Miller County, GA on May 6, 1927 to the late George Washington and Lula Ruth Mock Bush. He served his country in the US Army and was owner/operator of Ed's Pool Room. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Jimmie M. Bush; two sons Larry Wayne Bush and his wife Norma; Donald Allen Bush and his wife Julie; one daughter Janice Bush Jones and her husband Bob all of Donalsonville, GA; one sister Mable Easom and her husband Robert of Ft. Walton Beach, FL He was also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Washington and Lula Ruth Mock Bush; three brothers, Melvin Bush, Doc Bush, and Leon Bush and one sister, Sybil Chambers. Pallbearers will be Shane Cox, Shane Brown, Richard Adams, Kolby Bush, Chris Bush and Greg Easom. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
