We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Billie Faye Wilkison Darsey, age 80, of Athens, GA formerly of Donalsonville, GA who passed away on May 5, 2008 at a nursing home. Graveside services will be held Thursday, May 8, at 11:00 AM at Corinth Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Iron City, GA with Rev. Luther Hastey officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 7, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA. Mrs. Darsey was born in Tampa, FL on October 20, 1927 to the late Henry H. and Thelma Louise Roberts Wilkison. She was a retired School Teacher and married to Hubert B. Darsey who preceded her in death in 2002. Mrs. Darsey leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Hugh Darsey and his wife Deborah of Warner Robins, GA; three daughters, Deborah Darsey of Athens, GA, Anne Hucks of Buford, GA and Jan Gilbreath of Buford, GA; two sisters, Thelma Underwood of McKinney, TX and Betty Gray of Alexandria, VA; and 9 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry H. and Thelma Louise Roberts Wilkison; and her husband, Hubert B. Darsey.
