We regret to announce the passing of Lallie Jenkins Bevis, age 86, of Memphis, TN and formerly of Donalsonville, who passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2005 in Memphis. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2005 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Donalsonville with Rev. Luther Hastey officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville. Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30 PM on November 1, 2005 at the First Baptist Church prior to the funeral. She was married to the late J. B. Jenkins and the late N. B. Bevis and was a former school teacher. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Donalsonville. She is survived by a daughter, Judy Jenkins Jones and her husband Walter of Germantown, TN; two brothers, James G. Camp of Lawrenceville, GA and William J. Camp of Decatur, GA; two sisters, Barbara Durahimer of Greensboro, GA and Jean Smith of Lavonia, GA. Three grandchildren, Lisa Keppen and Leslie Loftis of Germantown, TN and Tracee Cook Kissell of Elkhart, KS. Nine great grandchildren also survive. She was preceeded in death by her parents, husbands, daugher, Mary Ann Jenkins Cook and brother, Walker Camp of Marietta, GA. Pallbearers will be Brad Clarke, Mel Loftis, Brantley Rowlen, Craig Camp, Frazier Lindsey, and Carlton Kelly. The Deacons of First Baptist Church and J. B. Clarke will serve as honorary pallbearers. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
