JAMES EDWARD"BUDDY" O'NEAL

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. James Edward “Buddy” O’Neal who passed away Monday, July 30, 2013 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. Graveside services for Mr. O’Neal will be held on Monday, Aug. 5, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Memory Gardens in Thonotosassa, FL. Interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens in Thonotosassa, FL. Visitation will be held in Donalsonville, GA at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home on Friday, August 2, 2013 from 7:00-9:00 PM. Mr. O’Neal was born in Colquitt, GA on Nov. 4, 1944 to James E. and Lucille Gibson O’Neal. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Dothan, AL and was a heavy equipment operator for Reed Minerals before retirement. He also enjoyed being an amateur radio operator. He is survived by his son, Steven James O’Neal and his wife Missy of Seffener, FL and 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, James E. and Lucille Gibson O’Neal; his wife, Carol Ann Bahlam O’Neal; and a sister, Carol Sheffield. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
