CLEO ANGLIN THOMPSON

December 8, 1919 — July 25, 2013

Mrs. Cleo Anglin Thompson, age 93, of Donalsonville, GA passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Thompson was born in Early County, GA on December 8, 1919 to the late Taylor Anglin and Elizabeth Johnson Anglin. Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. Funeral services for Mrs. Thompson will be held Sunday, July 28, 2013 at 3:00 PM at Trinity United Methodist Church with Rev. Donna Sue Roberts and Tommy Thompson, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery with Nicole Touchton, Brad Thompson, Micheal Thompson, Solomon DuPriest, Shawn Lee, and Danny Thompson serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs. Thompson leaves to cherish her memory seven sons, Edward Thompson (Darlene)of Donalsonville, GA.; Aaron Thompson (Thresa) of Fleming Island, FL; Wallace Thompson (Linda) of Jacksonville, FL; Tommy Thompson (Karen) of Tampa, FL; Wayne Thompson (Marsha), Raymond Thompson (Wanda), Rex Thompson ( Nancy) all of Donalsonville, GA; two daughters, Evelyn Lee (Roy) of St. Johns, FL. and Diane DuPriest (Sol) of Donalsonville, GA; three sisters, Clyde Arnold of Donalsonville, GA, Christine Robinson of Destin, FL and Hazel Runnels of Lakeland, FL; two brothers, Russell Anglin (Bobbie) of Albany, GA and Lynwood “Mutt” Anglin ( Maxine of Brookville, FL. She is also survived 24 grandchildren and 41 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her husband, Rufus Marvin Thompson, her parents, Taylor and Elizabeth Johnson Anglin; three brothers, Gordon Anglin, Rick Anglin and Horace Anglin and two sisters, Ennie Bradshaw and Nell Johnson. Flowers accepted or the family suggests memorial contributions may be Trinity United Methodist Church in Donalsonville, GA or Gentiva Hospice in Bainbridge, GA. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
