We regret to announce the passing of Charlie Curtis Dawson, age 82, of North Ft. Myers, FL who passed away Monday, April 21, 2008 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 25, 2008 at 10:30 AM at Corinth Free Will Baptist Church in Iron City with Rev. E.L. Johns officating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 24, 2008 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville. Mr. Dawson was born in Miller County, GA on July 25, 1925 to the late Jefferson Eli and Samantha Love Dawson. He was a salesman for Dixie Lily. He was preceded in death by his wife Sara Nell Windham Dawson. He is survived by one son, Billy Wade Dawson, Sr. and his wife Martina of Clewiston, FL; two daughters, Barbara Turner and her husband, Edward of North Ft. Myers, FL and Elaine Bowermeister and her husband, Gary of Winter Garden, FL; one sister, Inez Rich and her husband, Devid of Bainbridge, GA. He was also survived by 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jefferson Eli and Samantha Love Dawson; his wife, Sara Nell Windham Dawson; five brothers, Jimmy Dawson, Oscar Dawson, Eli Dawson, Howard Dawson and Edgar Dawson. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
