We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Vera Margaret Sanders Brown, age 88, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at the Seminole Manor Nursing Home in Donalsonville, GA. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 22, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Branton and Rev. Glenn Ray officiating. Interment will follow at Oakview Church of God Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA. Visitation will be held Friday, March 21, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA. She worked with the sewing factory in Donalsonville for 19 years. She was married to Mr. Ellie Franklin Brown who preceded her in death in 1988. She attended Oakview Church of God. Mrs. Brown leaves to cherish her memory; two sons, Jerry Brown of Donalsonville, GA and Thomas Brown and his wife Lisa of Donalsonville, GA; four daughters, Ruth Rhodes of Donalsonville, GA, Nellie Branton and her husband Bobby of Rome, GA, Doris Williams and her husband James of Columbus, GA, and Margaret Ray and her husband Glenn of Salem, AL; two brothers, Winfred Sanders and Ray Sanders of Brundidge, AL; two sisters, Inez Eallas and Eunice King of Brundidge, AL . She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Margaret Williams Sanders; her husband, Ellie Franklin Brown; and three brothers, Buddy Sanders, Roy Sanders and Gerald Sanders. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home of Donalsonville, GA has been entrusted with the arrangements.
