WE REGRET TO ANNOUNCE THE PASSING OF MRS. RUNELL H. HARDAGE, AGE 83, OF DONALSONVILLE, GA AND FORMERLY OF THOMASTON, GA. MRS. HARDAGE PASSED AWAY FRIDAY, MARCH 22, 2013 AT DONALSONVILLE HOSPITAL. FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. HARDAGE WILL BE HELD ON SUNDAY AFTERNOON, MARCH 24, 2013 AT 3:00 PM AT THE FIRST CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE IN DONALSONVILLE, GA WITH REV. SCOTT MESSER OFFICIATING. VISITATION WILL BE HELD ONE HOUR PRIOR TO THE SERVICE AT THE CHURCH. A GRAVESIDE SERVICE AND INTERMENT WILL FOLLOW ON MONDAY, MARCH 25, 2013 AT 3:00 PM AT UPSON MEMORIAL GARDENS IN THOMASTON, GA. VISITATION WILL BE HELD IN THOMASTON ON MONDAY, MARCH 25, 2013 FROM 1:00-3:00 PM AT COGGINGS FUNERAL HOME. FLOWERS WILL BE ACCEPTED OR MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS MAY BE MADE TO THE FIRST CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE PO BOX 466 DONALSONVILLE, GA 39845. MRS. HARDAGE WAS BORN JULY 17, 1929 IN THOMASTON, GA TO THE NOW LATE CLIFF AND WILLIE MAE GLANTON HELMS. SHE WAS THE HOSPITAL ADMINISTRATOR AT UPSON REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER FOR 41 YEARS. SHE WAS INVOLVED WITH THE HOSPITAL VOLUNTEERS, "THE PINK LADIES" AFTER HER RETIREMENT AND WELL AS SERVED AS THE SECRETARY FOR HOLY GROUND WORSHIP CENTER. AFTER MOVING TO DONALSONVILLE, SHE AND HER HUSBAND BECAME MEMBERS OF THE FIRST CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE. MRS. HARDAGE LEAVES TO CHERISH HER MEMORY, HER HUSBAND, HAROLD HARDAGE OF DONALSONVILLE, GA; A DAUGHTER, RENEE SHINGLER AND HER HUSBAND RONNY OF CEDAR SPRINGS, GA; A BROTHER, JACK HELMS AND HIS WIFE, JANE, OF PENSACOLA, FL; AND A SISTER-IN-LAW, LILLIE HELMS KEE OF MILTON, FL. SHE IS ALSO SURVIVED BY TWO GRANDCHILDREN, RACHAEL HOLLOMAN AND HER HUSBAND TOMMY OF CEDAR SPRINGS, GA AND RYAN SHINGLER AND HIS WIFE KATY OF WHEELING, WEST VIRGINIA; TWO GREAT GRANDCHILDREN, EMMA AND AUBREY HOLLOMAN; AND SEVERAL NIECES AND NEPHEWS. SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER PARENTS, CLIFF AND WILLIE MAE GLANTON HELMS, AS WELL AS THREE BROTHERS, CURTIS HELMS, MILTON HELMS, AND BENTLEY HELMS. ACTIVE PALLBEARERS WILL BE EDWARD BARBER, GENE HORN, JOE LOYLESS, TIM MIDDLETON, BRUCE PHILLIPS, JOE WALLACE, BUDDY WHITTAKER, AND EDWARD WHITTAKER. HONORARY PALLBEARERS WILL BE MEMBERS OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF THE FIRST CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE.
