VAUGHN THOMAS BELL

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Vaughn Thomas "Tommy" Bell, age 56, of Brinson, GA who passed away Saturday, October 1, 2005 at his residence. A private graveside service was held on Sunday afternoon, October 2, 2005 at 4:00 PM at Olive Grove/ Rock Pond Cemetery in Iron City, GA with Brother David Barrett and Elder Eddie Colley officiating. Mr. Bell was born on November 27, 1948 in Birmingham, AL to James Bell and the late Carolyn Sanders Bell. He served his country in the U.S. Army as a member of the Army Special Forces and was with MACV/SOG during the Vietnam Conflict. He was loved and cherished by all his family and will be deeply missed. Mr. Bell leaves to cherish his memory, his father, James Thomas Bell of Iron City, GA; a son, Vaughn Thomas Bell, Jr. of Bainbridge, GA; a daughter, Myra Elizabeth Bell of Norfolk, Virginia; a brother, James Clifton Bell of Richmond, VA; and a sister, Susan Bell Ramp of Augusta, GA. Three grandchildren Douglas, Miranda, and Ruth Pecot of Bainbridge, GA; eleven nieces and nephews also survive. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
