Ruth Faircloth Grant

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Ruth Grant, age 93 of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at home. Funeral services for Mrs. Grant will be held on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper with Dr. Gary Smith officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 2:00 PM. Committal will be held in the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Salem-Seminole Baptist Church Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA. Casketbearers will be Terry Ingram, Bob Jones, David Marshall, Clent Mims, Greg Mims and Willard Mims. Mrs. Grant was born in Donalsonville, GA August 16, 1919 to Idus and Mattie Earnest Faircloth. She was a member of Hammock Springs Free Will Baptist Church and a homemaker. She is survived by four sons, Edward Grant and his wife Lannie, Billy Grant and his wife Virginia; Larry Grant and Mike Grant all ofDonalsonville. Grandchildren, Chase Grant and his wife Alicia of Lawrence, GA and Suzanne Grant of Donalsonville, GA She was preceded in death by her parents, Idus and Mattie Earnest Faircloth;her husband, Hubert Grant; brother, Roy Faircloth; sister June Nichols and her husband Bobby and a daughter-in-law Elaine Ingram Grant. Flowers accepted or memorial contribtuions may be made to Gentiva Hospice or Hammock Springs Free Will Baptist Church in Donalsonville, GA Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
