GLADYS HILE MCDONALD

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Gladys Hile McDonald, age 88, of Iron City, GA who passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013 at the Donalsonville Hospital. A graveside memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Corinth Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Iron City, GA with Rev. James Scarborough officiating. Mrs. McDonald was born in Donalsonville, GA on March 26, 1924 to the late T.J. Hile and Leila Barber Hile. She worked as a waitress and restaurant hostess. Mrs. McDonald is survived by her two sons, Glen McDonald and his wife Pam of Iron City, GA, and Mike McDonald and his wife Debra of Pelham, GA; her sister, Edna Hamlin of Tampa, FL; six grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, T.J. Hile and Leila Barber Hile; her husband, Charles William McDonald; a grandson, Roger Collingwood; and two brothers, Von Hile and Elmo Hile. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
