We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Kenneth Wessinger, age 49, of Ashford, AL who passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013 in Columbia, AL. A memorial service will be held at Columbia Methodist Church in Columbia, AL on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at 3:30 PM CST with Rev. Chip Oakley and Rev. Walter Reeder. He was of the Methodist faith and enjoyed fishing and was a mechanic and could fix anything. He leaves to cherish his memory mother, Pat Ferguson of Columbia, Al; daughter, Kimberly W. Fritts of Dothan, AL; Uncle, Bernard Dawson of Columbia, AL; sister, Kathy Oakley and brother -in-law, Chip Oakley of Dothan, AL. He was preceded in death by his father, Hugh William Wessinger, grandparents, Junior and Bessie Baker, sister, Ellen Varnum, brother, William Maurice Wessinger.
