KATRINA ANN CHAPMAN JONES

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Katrina Jones, age 71, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Saturday evening, Feb. 16, 2008 at the Donalsonville Hospital ER. Funeral services for Mrs. Jones will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Harvey Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Corinth Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, February 19, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs. Jones was born in Miller County, GA on Dec. 8, 1936 to the late Will and Ever Lee Henry Chapman. She worked in the housekeeping department of the hotel industry in Alaska for a number of years. She and her husband of 49 years, James Jones, had moved back to the area in 2001. Mrs. Jones was a member of Corinth Free Will Baptist Church of Iron City, GA. Mrs. Jones leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, James Jones of Donalsonville, GA; three sons, Emmett Jones and his wife Catherine of Martin, TN, James Jones, Jr of Arab, AL, and William Jones of San Antonio, TX; two daughters, Angela Catherman and her husband Robert of San Antonio, TX and Donna Capps and her husband Chris of Fairbanks, Alaska; two brothers, Maurice Chapman and his wife Sula of Colquitt, GA and John Chapman and his wife Hilda of Arab, AL; two sisters, Alice Dixon and her husband Butch of Franklin, TN and Edith Fynbu and her husband Jack of Lincoln, Nebraska; and 11 grandchildren. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Corinth Free Will Baptist Church.
