We regret to announce the passing of Raymond Clifford, age 69, of Middletown, OH who passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2007 at the Donalsonville Hospital. A private family graveside will be held on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008 at Simon Chapel Cemetery in Somerville, OH. Friends may call on the family beginning at 11:00 AM at the Jacksonburg United Methodist Church 4654 Middletown Oxford Road, Middletown, OH on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008. A memorial service will be held at the church beginning at 12:00 PM with a fellowship meal to follow. Mr. Clifford was born in Franklin, OH on April 9, 1938 to the late Robert Nelson and Leah Geneva Slone Clifford. He served his county in the US Navy and worked as a maintenance supervisor. He is survived by his wife, JoAnn Clifford of Middletown, Oh and two daughters, Julie Kinder of Middletown, OH and Tracy Elliott and her husband James of Carlisle, OH; two sisters, Frances (Sue) Williams of Mobile, AL and Mary Herr of Middletown, OH. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Kelli Kinder, Shelbi Elliott and Colton Elliott as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Charles Clifford and two sisters, Marie Million and Alice Buchanan Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements
