Donald "Woodchopper" Wiley

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Donald Nathan "Woodchopper" Wiley, age 56 of Iron City, GA who passed away Sunday afternoon, Feb. 10, 2008 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home in Donalsonville, GA. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Wiley will be held on Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 13, 2008 at 3:00 PM EST at Ashford City Cemtery in Ashford, AL with Rev. James Scarborough officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday evening, Feb. 12, 2008 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mr. Wiley was born in Henry County, AL on June 27, 1951 to the late Johnny Franklin Wiley and Erma Callie Hicks Wiley Livingston. He was a truck driver for many years, and served in the United States Army from which he received an honorable discharge. Mr. Wiley leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Erma Livingston of Jakin, GA; a son, Clay Wiley of Iron City, GA; a longtime companion and mother of his son, Angel Crum of Iron City, GA; a brother, Jerry Wiley and his wife Lou of Texas; a sister, Pat Temples and her husband Jacky of Donalsonville, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Wiley; a son, Troy Wiley; and two sisters, Joan Helms and Carolyn Jones. Active pallbearers will be Larry Yates, Dan Hartzog, Mike Pridgen, Thomas Johnson, Wayne Frazier, and Glen Glisson. Honorary pallbearers will be friends and fellow truck drivers. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
