JOHN FRANK EARNEST

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. John Frank "Frankie" Earnest, age 49, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 25, at 3:00 PM at Salem-Seminole Baptist Church with Rev. Travis Free officiating. Burial will follow at Salem-Seminole Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 24, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Frankie was born in Seminole County on April 5, 1958 to the late Clyde and Thelma Griner Earnest. He worked as a pipefitter, was a member of Plumbers, Pipefitters and Service Technicians Local Union 72. He was a member of Salem -Seminole Baptist Church and Bethel Baptist Church in Sylvester, GA since 2005. He is survived by two brothers, Bruce Earnest and his wife Tami of Sylvester, GA and C.E. Earnest and his wife Mary of Donalsonville, GA.; 2 nieces, Miranda and Abilgail Earnest; 2 Nephews, Darrell Earnest and Dewayne Earnest and his wife Tracey; 2 great nieces, Jessica and Marabeth Earnest and a great nephew, Garrett Earnest. Pallbearers will be Mike Perry, Wayne Faircloth, Phillip Poole, Dale Yates, Joey Poole and Ricky Alday. In lieu of flowers the family ask that memorial contributions be made to the Salem-Seminole Baptist Church Cemetery Fund c/o Mabel Chance 7133 River Road Donalsonville, GA 39845.
