DECIMA MCLENDON GLASS

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Decima McLendon Glass, age 88, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Tuesday evening, Jan. 15, 2008 at Miller County Hospital. Funeral services for Mrs. Glass will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with the Rev. Owen Trawick and Rev. Arthur Brady officiating. Burial will follow at Flat Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral. Mrs. Glass was born in Miller County, GA on August 19, 1919 to the late John McLendon and Clyde Glass McLendon. She was a homemaker and attended Providence Church of God. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Lester Glass of Donalsonville, GA; one brother, Ross McLendon of Colquitt, GA; and one sister, Lillian Heard of Albany, GA. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Ruby Bell, Johnnie Worrell, Lou Ellen Benton and one brother, Bill McLendon. Pallbearers will be Don Jarvis, Christopher Moates, Arthur Glass, Ralph Glass, Danny Worrell and Bruce Adams. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Evans-Skipper Funeral Home.
