MICHAEL "MIKE" EUGENE GORDON

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Michael Eugene "Mike" Gordon, age 49, of Bossier City, LA and formerly of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Saturday, August 27, 2005 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Funeral services for Mr. Gordon will be held at the Broadmoor Assembly of God Church in Shreveport, LA on Wednesday, August 31, 2005 at 10:00 AM CST with Pastor David Daniel officiating and Hill Crest Funeral Home in charge of arrangements there. Graveside services and interment will be held on Friday morning, Sept. 2, 2005 at 11:00 AM EST at Houston Cemetery in Blakely, GA with the Rev. Stan Long and the Rev. Mr. Gordon was born on October 11, 1955 to the late E.E. Gordon and Ramona Houston Gordon. He was married to the former Jeneane Enfinger and was a member of Broadmoor Assembly of God Church in Shreveport, LA. Mr. Gordon served his country in the U.S. Air Force for four years and was a Systems Operator for International Paper Co. for twenty-four years. Mr. Gordon leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 32 years, Jeneane Enfinger Gordon of Bossier City, LA; one son, Justin Gordon and a grandson, Tyler Gordon; his mother, Ramona Houston Gordon of Donalsonville, GA; a sister and brother-in-law, Jeannie Gordon Conyers and Dewayne Conyers of Ashford, AL; a sister, Cherri Gordon of Albany, GA; as well as many other loving relatives and friends. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
