FRANK WORTHY

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Frank Worthy, age 80, of Iron City, GA who passed away Thursday night, Jan. 10, 2008 at Seminole Manor Nursing Home. Mr. Worthy's remains will be cremated. Mr. Worthy was born in Miller County on February 27, 1927 to the late Henry Huel and Jessie Lee Railey Worthy. He served his country in the US Army, worked as a mechanic, and was a member of Donalsonville Church of God. He is survived by one daughter, Elaine Miller of Iron City, GA; one brother, Fred Worthy of Bainbridge, GA four sisters, Nell Holmes of Bonifay, FL, Sally Gordon of Dothan, AL, Mary Turner of Orlando, FL, Nadine Sumllens of Ocala, FL. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Edell Widner Worthy, a son, Roy Worthy; three brothers, Dick Worthy, W.C. Worthy, Henry Worthy and one sister, Clemtine Worthy. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
