DOUGLAS LEO WHITTINGTON

We regret to announce the passing of Leo Whittington, age 55, of Brinson, GA who passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 26, 2005 at 1:00 PM at Bethany Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Bell officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Whittington was born in Luverne, AL on October 28, 1949 to the late Barney and Mildred Imogene Martin Whittington. He was a farmer and a member of Grace Church. He leaves to cherish his memory one son Joey Whittington of Bainbridge, GA; one daughter Jennifer W. Hall and her husband Charles of Brinson, GA; one brother Robert Whittington and one sister Diane Whiddon of Whigham, GA. Two special grandchildren, Sawyer and Matt Hall.
