We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Irene Thursby Warriner Harrell, age 90, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Sunday, January 6, 2008 at the Seminole Manor Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday afternoon, January 8, 2008 at 2:00PM at Spring Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Luther Hastey and Rev. Jimmy Dean officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday evening, January 7, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs. Harrrell was born in Seminole County, GA on October 20, 1917 to the late Jim and Gertrude Merkison Thursby. She was married to and preceded in death by both of her husbands, Walter Baxter Warriner and Jim Harrell. She was a member of Spring Creek Baptist Church and had lived in Seminole County all of her life. Mrs. Harrell leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Sissy Boulus and her husband Norman of Augusta, GA; a son, J.W. Warriner and his wife Hilda of Donalsonville, GA; a sister, Catherine Epperson and her husband Ivan of Norcross, GA; two granddaughters, Lisa Johnson and her husband Tommy of Bainbridge, GA and Michelle Warriner of Donalsonville, GA; six great grandchildren, Alex, Kaleah Beth, Maci, and Laci Johnson all of Bainbridge, GA and Madison and Courtney Warriner both of Donalsonville, GA; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Gertrude Merkison Thursby; her husbands, Walter Baxter Warriner and Jim Harrell; and her grandson, Jamie Warriner. Pallbearers will be John Moseley, David Merkison, Joel Alday, Joseph E. (Tuddy) Alday, Randall Earnest, and Ellis Odom. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
