MARTHA AVINGER

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Martha Loyless Avinger, age 78, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Friday, January 4, 2008 at the Donalsonville Hospital ER. The family will receive friends at the home on Sunday afternoon, Jan. 6, 2008 from 2:00-5:00 PM. Mrs. Avinger's remains will be cremated. Mrs. Avinger was born in Early County, GA on October 28, 1929 to the late Jessie and Inez Williams Loyless. She was married to Kenneth Evans Avinger who preceded her in death. Mrs. Avinger was a teacher before she retired. She was a member of Reynolds Chapel United Methodist Church and was very active in Relay for Life events. Mrs. Avinger leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter Lieta Knowles and her husband Jeff of Forest Park, GA and a sister, Faye Hill and her husband Johnny of Donalsonville, GA. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Seminole County Chapter of the American Cancer Society c/o Lucy Thomas PO Box 616 Donalsonville, GA 39845 or the Seminole County Public Library 103 West 4th Street Donalsonville, GA 39845.
