We regret to announce the passing of Mr. David Manuel Wade, age 45, of Jakin, GA who passed away Friday afternoon, August 19, 2005 at the Donalsonville Hospital ER. Funeral services for Mr. Wade will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2005 at 1:00 PM at Jakin United Methodist Church with Rev. Doug Harvey and Rev. Ramon Hernandez officiating. Interment will follow in Jakin City Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening, August 23, 2005 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mr. Wade was born in Miller County, GA on Oct. 10, 1959 to the late Aaron and Charlotte Marie Johnson Wade. He worked as a diesel mechanic with Early Tractor Company in Donalsonville. He was married to the former Mary Ann Addis and was of the Methodist faith. He was a loving and devoted grandson-in-law to Mrs. Mary Ruth Lanton, "Big Mama". Mr. Wade leaves to cherish his memory a loving and devoted wife, Mary Ann Wade of Jakin, GA; a son, Jason McCormick of Jakin, GA; two brothers, Mark Wade and his fiancee Dawna Dejraw of Bainbridge, GA and Timothy Wade of Donalsonville, GA; one sister, Lisa Wade; one grandson, Tristen Lee McCormick; and several nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aaron and Charlotte Marie Johnson Wade and two brothers, Nathan Wade and Frankie Wade. Pallbearers will be Jason McCormick, Mark Wade, Bobby Addis, Tim Wade, Harold Cook, and Ricky Parker. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home of Donalsonville has been entrusted with the arrangements.
