We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Philip Ray McMillan, age 70, of Donalsonville, GA, who passed away Friday, October 26, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Hammock Springs Freewill Baptist Church with Dr. Gary Smith and Josh Rathel officiating. Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mr. McMillan was born in Donalsonville, GA on October 14, 1942 to the late Ira and Etta Parker McMillan. He was an owner/salesman with Seminole Building Supply for 46 years. Mr. McMillan was a member of Hammock Springs Freewill Baptist Church, where he served as chairman of the Deacon Board and Church Treasurer. Mr. McMillan leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Shirley McMillan of Donalsonville, GA; one son, Greg McMillian and his wife Teresa of Bainbridge, GA; one daughter, Sheila Bryan and her husband Doug of Bascom, FL; and his mother-in-law, Essie Deese of Donalsonville, GA. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Douglas McMillan and fiancée Kayla Hawkins, Ashley McMillan and his wife Micah; Justin Bryan, Megan Bryan, and Sara Beth Bryan; one great grandson; Hunter McMillan and one great granddaughter, Emori Vickers; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Etta Parker McMillan and two brothers, Nelson McMillan and Leroy McMillan. Casketbearers will be Greg Houston, Israel Houston, Steve Griffin, Bobby Jackson, Ryan Posey and J. R. McMillan. Honorary casketbearers will be deacons of Hammock Springs Free Will Baptist Church, Roy Dukes, Henry Temples, and David Marshall.
