MICHAEL CRAIG WILLIAMS

We regret to announce the passing of Michael C. "Mike" Williams, age 55, of Iron City, GA who passed away Thursday, August 4, 2005 at Bainbridge Memorial in Bainbridge, GA. Funeral services for Mr. Williams will be held on Monday, August 8, 2005 at 11:00 AM at the Donalsonville Church of God with the Rev. Stan Long officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Sunday evening, August 7, 2005 from 7:00-9:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mr. Williams was born on Dec. 18, 1949 in Early County, GA to the late Tommy Williams and Hazel Stephens Williams. He was a graduate of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and the University of Georgia with a BS degree in Agriculture. He had been employed as the comptroller for Barber Fertilizer since 1987. Mr. Williams was married to the former Gwen Kelly. He was a member of the Donalsonville Church of God, where he served as the Minister of Music. Mr. Williams leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Gwen Williams of Iron City, GA; his mother, Hazel Williams of Blakely, GA; two sons, Michael Craig Williams, Jr. and his wife Nanelle of Tallahassee, FL and Stephen Moss of Donalsonville, GA; a daughter, Valda Chaney of Valdosta, GA; two sisters, Kathy Jennings of Rochelle, GA and Debra McNeal of Blakely, GA; two grandchildren, Cole and Owen Williams of Tallahassee, FL; and two nieces, Jakyn and Alison Jennings of Rochelle, GA. Pallbearers will be Wilton Albritton, Michael Albritton, Mike Adams, Greg Broxton, Wendall Cross, and Darius Moss.
