ELIZABETH PATTON

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Elizabeth F. Patton, age 91, of Americus, GA and formerly of Donalsonville, who passed away Saturday morning, October 27, 2007 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, GA. Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 29, 2007 at 1:00 PM at Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Jim McIlrath officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday morning prior to the service, from 11:30-12:30. Mrs. Patton was born in West Liberty, Kentucky on December 10, 1915 to the late Ezra Michael and Myrtle Ferguson Henry. She was a seamstress and retired from Kroehler Furniture Manufacturing Company. She was a member of the Sunshine Club and Friendship United Methodist Church in Donalsonville. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Mrs. Patton leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Sharon K. Dutton of Americus, GA; a granddaughter, Deanna K. Hudgins and her husband Frank of Americus, GA; and three great grandchildren, Robert Franklin Hudgins, Thomas Michael Hudgins, and Kayla Elizabeth Hudgins all of Americus, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ezra Michael and Myrtle Ferguson Henry; her husband, Robert Patton; and brothers, Virgil F. Henry, John D. Henry, and Isaac C. Henry. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
