MYRTLE ADAMS DONALDSON SWINK

We regret to announce the passing of Myrtle Adams Donaldson Swink, age 82, of Iron City, GA who passed away Thursday, October 25, 2007 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 27, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Walden and Rev. Paul Hewatt officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville. Visitation will be held Friday, October 26 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. She worked as an executive housekeeper for Colony Square Hotels in Atlanta for a number of years. She attended Unity Church of God in Iron City, GA and New Beginnings in Colquitt, GA. Mrs. Swink leaves to cherish her memory, a daughter, Marti Evans and her husband Larry, who was like a son, of Iron City, GA; three sons, Fletcher Donaldson, Jr. and Ray Donaldson of Jasper, GA, and Ronnie Donaldson and his wife Beverly of Dacula, GA; one brother, Gene Adams of Alpharetta, GA and two sisters, Ruth Hancock of Smyrna, GA and Irene Donaldson of Douglasville, GA; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be Larry Evans, Fletcher Donaldson, Jr., Ray Donaldson, Ronnie Donaldson, Scott Donaldson, and Nick Donaldson.
