We regret to announce the passing of Mr. William Ralph Roberts, age 78, of Valrico, FL formerly of Donalsonville, GA, who passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 at the St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, FL. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 17 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Sheffield officiating. Interment will follow at New Home Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Colquitt, GA. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, August 16, 2012 at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Roberts and Jessie Edna Fiveash Roberts. He served in the United States Air Force, obtained a Master’s degree in marketing and advertising, was a life insurance salesman, and spent the latter years of his life running several successful retail businesses.. Mr. Roberts leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Virginia Roberts of Valrico, FL; Marlon Roberts of Vidalia, GA mother of Brett and Vikki; two sons, Brett David Roberts and his wife Sandra of Vidalia, GA, LT James Colley and his wife Melissa of Kittery, Maine; two daughters, Vikki Lynne Lupatin and her husband Mike of Valrico, FL, Cheryl Baugher and her husband Greg of Huntsville, AL; a brother, Raymond Roberts and his wife Sue of Sheridan, IN; two sisters, Betty Ann Dickerson of Iron City, GA, Alice Morris of Dothan, AL; his grandchildren, Dana Roberts, David Roberts, Ashlyn Pate and her husband Jonathan, Nicholas Baugher, Sarah Colley, Bella Colley, and Kelsey Hinton. He was preceded in death by his parents, John B. Roberts, and Jessie Edna Fiveash Roberts. Pallbearers will be Brett Roberts, David Roberts, LT James Colley, Nick Baugher, Mike Lupatin, and Leon McCormick. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
