Jesse McLeod

We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Jesse Ray McLeod, age 61, of Donalsonville, GA who passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012 at his residence. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Friendship Memorial Gardens in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. James Scarborough officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, July 30, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mr. McLeod was born in Donalsonville, GA on October 19, 1950 to the late Grady Wood McLeod and Marie Cordell McLeod. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was retired from the Seminole County School System where he served as School Superintendent for 17 years. He was the Middle/High School Principal for a number of years and was currently serving as the Seminole County Girls Basketball Coach and Athletic Director. Mr. McLeod leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Norma McLeod of Donalsonville, GA; his children, Jill Johnson and her husband Truette of Donalsonville, GA, Kyle McLeod and Emily Easom both of Donalsonville, GA; his grandchildren, Jillian and Addison Johnson; his borther, Butch McLeod and his wife Ginger of Morris, GA; his sister, Annie Jowers and her husband Tommy of Leesburg, GA; a close friend, Collin Chandler; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady Wood and Marie Cordell McLeod. Active casketbearers will be Monroe Bonner, Brinson Register, Donald Moore, Charlie Barber, Larry Fennell, Rob Blackburn, Kevin Godwin, Mike Williams, and E.C. Bridges.
