FRANCES BROWN

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Frances Newberry Brown, age 77, of Colquitt, GA who passed away Sunday, July 15, 2012 at the Donalsonville Hospital. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 19, at 2:00 PM at Flat Creek Baptist Church in Colquitt, GA with Rev. Buren Womble officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 18 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA. She was born in Donalsonville, GA on December 31, 1934 to the Earl and Mary Lou Welch Newberry. She was a homemaker and worked with the peanut mills at Fudge and Birdsong Peanut Company. She is survived by her husband, James Brown of Colquitt, GA a daughter, Wanda Moore of Colquitt, GA; two grandchildren, Lynn Cross and Chad Moore; three brothers, James Newberry of South Carolina, Robert Newberry and Roger Newberry of Colquitt, GA, She is also survived by four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Mary Lou Welch Newberry and a son, Sterling Moore. Casketbearers will be Billy Joe Newberry , Charles Brackin, AL Brown, Justin Cross, Jeff Newberry and Marcus Newberry. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
