GWENDOLYN W. MOULTON

October 31, 1922 — July 13, 2012

Gwendolyn Williams Moulton, born October 31, 1922 to Charles and Mae Williams, died Friday, July 13, 2012. She was a lifelong resident of Miller and Seminole counties and had resided in Donalsonville for the last 25 years. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church of Donalsonville on Sunday, July 15, 2012 at 1:30 PM with Dr. Ronny Spillers and Rev. Mark Payne officiating. Interment will follow in Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Miller County. Please join family and friends to "CELEBRATE the LIFE of MRS. GWEN" at the visitation with lunch for all in attendance at 12:15 PM at First Baptist on Sunday. Mrs. Gwen was a loving and devoted mother, homemaker and long time career bookkeeper. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Donalsonville. She taught Sunday School for over 40 years, first at Union Baptist then at First Baptist. She loved her yard and was a perfectionist who grew magnificent flowers. She enjoyed her grandchildren and visiting with her hundreds of friends she had made over the years. She leaves to cherish her memory three children, Anne Odom and her husband Donald of Donalsonville, GA, Charles Moulton and his wife Rita of Eastman, GA, and Gordon Moulton and his wife Geri of Mobile, AL. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Karen Miller and her husband Ronnie and Michael Moulton and his wife Liza, as well as four great-grandchildren, Carabeth Miller, Annabeth Miller, Gracie Moulton, and Peyton Hollis. Mrs. Moulton was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mae Williams; her husband, Curtis Moulton; sisters, Ruby Rachel, Mildred Sharber, Evelyn Garwood, and Dixie Gibson; and brothers, Totsy Williams, Herbert Williams, and Milton Williams. Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributonions may be made to First Baptist Church PO Box 81 Donalsonville, GA 39845.
