We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Doris Servis Greer, age 83, of Iron City, GA who passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012 at the Donalsonville Hospital ER. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. James Scarborough officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 3, 2012 from 7:00-9:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs. Greer was born in Princeton Junction, NJ on April 16, 1929 to the late Elmer Theodore Servis and Ruth Agin Servis. She was of the Baptist faith and worked as seamstress. She is survived by her son, Ronald Smith of Orlando, FL; daughters, Louise Kelly and her husband Donnie Ray of Iron City, GA, Donna Pollock and her husband Larry of Iron City, GA, Charlene Gorman and her husband Robert of Hobe Sound, FL. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-two great grand children, and three great-great grandchildren.. She was preceded in death by her parents,Elmer Theodore Servis and Ruth Agin Servis; her husband, Charles Greer; a son, Elmer Theodore Greer; a daughter, Joyce Ann Sexton; sisters, Alice Parke, Viola Borosko, and Evelyn Weeden; and her brothers, Robert Servis and Ralph Servis. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
