We regret to announce the passing of Johnny Turner, age 57, of Donalsonville who passed away on Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at his residence. Funeral services for Mr. Turner will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Dean officiating.Interment will follow in Roselawn Cemetery in Bainbridge, GA. Visitation will be held on Friday evening, October 5, 2007 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the funeral home. He was retired from the auto parts sales industry. Mr. Turner leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Mary Moore Turner of Donalsonville, GA; two sons, Jeffery Turner and his wife Dana of Bainbridge, GA and SSgt John Patrick Turner and his wife Missy of Lakenheath AFB, England; two grandchildren, Bailey and Zach Turner and one on the way, Jonathan Turner. Several nieces, nephews, and sisters-in-law also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Cullie McKellar Turner; a son, Michael Turner; a grandson, John Caleb Turner; three brothers, Ralph Turner, Roy Turner, and Jimmy Ray Turner. Pallbearers will be Earl Barnett, David Exum, Royce Stewart, Sherwood Henry, Mike Phillips, and Joey Wilson. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
