LOIS FLOYD CROSS

We regret to announce the passing of Lois Floyd Cross, age 94, formerly of Cedar Springs who passed away March 23, 2005. Lois Floyd Cross departed with grace from this life to heaven on May 23, 2005. Lois leaves behind the legacy of a large family who feel a tremendous loss and sadness but who are thankful to have shared her long full life and legacy and values she leaves behind. Lois was born in Donalsonville, GA on September 26, 1910 to the late Alice Ragan and Joshua Floyd. She was one of nine children. She grew up in the Cedar Springs community. Lois is survived by one child, Richard M. Cross of King, N. C. and three grandchildren and their spouses: Betsy Cross Griswold of Atlanta, GA; Michael S. Cross of King, N.C. and Mary Alice Cross Fleming of Minneapolis, MN. She has three great grandchildren: Michael Cross, Elizabeth Cross and Anna Fleming. A memorial service will be held at Evans-Skipper Funeral in Donalsonville, Georgia on Saturday, May 28, 2005 at 11:00 AM with interment and a small graveside service to follow in Cedar Springs, GA where she will be laid to rest with her mother and father, four sisters and one brother. Family and friends are invited to attend.
