We regret to announce the passing of Berta Tyler, age 93, who passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at the home of her daughter Monteen Moody in Donalsonville, GA. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 20, 2005 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Billy Dawson, Rev. Stan Long and Rev. Ray Dawson officiating. Interment will follow in the Corinth Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery in Iron City, GA. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 19 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs. Tyler was born in Barbour County, AL on February 15, 1912 to the late Alter J. And Eura Davis Hardy . She was a homemaker and a member of Donalsonville Church of God. Mrs. Tyler was a precious lady and loved by all her family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory a son Charles Tyler; a daughter Monteen and Bill Moody all of Donalsonville, GA; four sisters Florence and Tom Graham of Malvern, AL; Ethel Horne of Donalsonville, GA; Louise Pippin and Maurine and Jack Ingram all of Dothan, AL. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
