We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Louise Moore Alday, age 93, of Iron City, GA. who passed away on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2012 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Rollin Rathel officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Seminole Baptist Church Cemetery in Donalsonville, GA. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2012 one hour prior to the service at 3:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA. She was born in Smithville, GA on February 1, 1919 to Asbury and Bertha Lewis Moore. She was a homemaker. She leaves to cherish her memory her caregiver and niece LaVerne Holman of Iron City, GA; grand nephew, Bruce Holman and his wife Clarice of Iron City, GA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Alday and her infant daughter, Reba Alday, her father, Asbury Moore and mother, Bertha Lynn, two sisters, Fosteen Alday and Annie Grant and one brother, Foy Moore. Evans-Skipper Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
