We regret to announce the passing of Mr. William Chad Robinson, age 38, of Iron City, GA. Mr. Robinson passed away on Friday, March 2, 2012 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 5, 2012 at 2:00 PM at First Baptist Church of Donalsonville, GA with Rev. James Scarborough, Rev. Jimmy Dean and Dr. Johnny Roberts officiating. Interment will follow at Corinth Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Iron City, GA. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 4, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Evans-Skipper Funeral Home in Donalsonville, GA. Chad was born in Donalsonville, GA on May 29, 1973 to William Leslie and Cynthia Marie Bush Robinson. He graduated from Seminole County High School in 1991. Chad had been a member of the Donalsonville and Iron City Volunteer Fire Departments, a member of the Seminole County Search and Rescue, as well as the Tri-State Search and Rescue. He had served as Deputy Coroner of Seminole County and was an Investigator for the Donalsonville Police Department. Chad was a member of Iron City Baptist Church. Mr. Robinson leaves to cherish his memory his wife Clara Robinson, a son, Austin Robinson and a daughter, Brittney Robinson all of Iron City, GA; his parents, Les and Cindy Robinson of Donalsonville, GA; his paternal grandmother, Sara Robinson of Iron City, GA; his mother-in-law, Annette Kelly of Climax, GA; his father-in-law, Emmett Kelly of Climax, GA; a sister-in-law, Rebecca Robinson of Iron City, GA; as well as, two brothers-in-law, Jeff Kelly of Climax, GA and his fiancée Marilyn Craft and Rick Kelly of Climax, GA and Jessica Ray. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Walter and Edith Bush; his paternal grandfather, William L. “Red” Robinson; his brother, Christopher Lance Robinson; and a brother-in-law, Phillip Kelly. Active casketbearers will be Tony Morris, Shannon Dunaway, Kem Pugh, Jim Shingler, Greg Long, Jimmy Holt, Robert Dukes, and Trent Clark. Honorary casketbearers will be members of local law enforcement agencies and emergency personnel.
