JANE MARIE DRAKE GORDON

We regret to announce the passing of Mrs. Jane Marie Drake Gordon, age 57, of Donalsonville, GA. Mrs. Gordon passed away Friday, February 24, 2012 at Southeast Alabama Medical Center in Dothan, AL. Funeral services for Mrs. Gordon will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Friendship United Methodist Church in Donalsonville, GA with Rev. Kirk Loyless officiating. Interment will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 6:00-8:00 PM at the chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home. Mrs. Gordon was born in Widnes, Lancashire, England on July 18, 1954 to the late Billy Gene Drake, Sr. and Marian Dutton Drake. She was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church. Mrs. Gordon was a homemaker, as well as having worked as a LPN. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Ray Gordon of Donalsonville, GA; her mother, Marie Drake of Donalsonville, GA; a son, Jared Gordon and his fiancee' Chasity Alday of Donalsonville, GA; a daughter, Kayla Gordon of Mobile, AL; two brothers, Billy Gene Drake, Jr. of Donalsonville, GA and James Lee “Jimmy” Drake and his wife Tawanna of Donalsonville, GA; a niece, Wendy McLeod of Dothan, AL; two nephews, Micheal Drake and his wife Kristy of Dothan, AL and Preston Drake of Donalsonville, GA; and a great nephew, Mason Drake of Dothan, AL. Active casketbearers will be Nathan Gordon, Kyle Aligood, Daniel Smith, Joe Drake, Jack Owen, and Micheal Drake. She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Gene Drake, Sr.
